I am a doctoral student in American Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. My research focuses on an ethnographic study of identity formation and performances of age within music based subcultures. I'm a research assistant in the UMD Counseling Center Research Unit working on a long-term project studying the prevalence of food insecurity among UMD students.

 

I'm also a musician in the Baltimore area, the host of Delightfully Depressing and a staff writer for WMUC-FM College Park, and a photographer with an affinity for vintage cameras.
